I received an iphone 5 today. I backed up my contacts on the old phone using the backup assistant. Do I activate the new iphone first or transfer the contacts using VZ Contact?

I want you to enjoy the iPhone 5 as quick as can be and get your contacts to show up right. When completing transfer of contacts you need to first activate the new phone and then activate the VZ Contact Transfer. This will only work if the contacts are fully synced from the first device. You can sign into www.vzw.com/backupassistant to confirm the contacts appear.
