Contacts no longer visable via bluetooth in car-solution???

I have a 2013 Hyundai Elantra and for some reason my phone contacts are no longer visable in my car when I am connected via bluetooth. The phone and my car are connected, so it says anyway, I can place calls but no contacts...not sure what's going on here....any suggestions??

I'm sure this is baffling especially if this worked previously.

Question, do contacts when you pair with a different bluetooth device? We are quite limited when it comes to pairing with cars, but if you go to https://www.hyundaiusa.com/BlueTooth/ I'm sure it would be helpful.

The only bluetooth device I pair my phone with is in my car. I have read the vehicle owners manual and have done everything that I can possibly do to try to get the contacts to download but they do not. The only other thing that I have not tried doing is resetting my iPhone to the original factory settings. I'm thinking that if I do that and the contacts download then I know it is an issue with the phone. Other than that, I have absolutely no idea how to tell where the issue may be.
