not active cellular data network?

The last week or so I keep getting the same error "could not activate cellular data network. you are not subscribed to a cellular data service". I have no idea

what this means or what I need to do? I have reset my network settings with no luck! Any suggestions would be great!

Have you tried dialing *228 and option 2 to update your roaming capabilities?

GlitzandGlamour, let's recover your wireless connection. First make sure that cellular data is turned on in Settings, General, Cellular. If already on, try turning off then on again. Dial *228 option 2 as Tikibar suggested. Are you showing a 3G at the top of your phone? Are calls and SMS working okay?

Thanks for the suggestions but I'm still having the same issue.

Sometimes the 3G is there and sometimes there is a circle there.

I seem to getting texts but not for some reason my phone doesn't

ring?!!
