I have had my first ever Droid for two months. I have not had a good experience for a number of reasons and will likely replace this phone no matter the cost before the week is out - and that is saying something, as I am pretty darn frugal.
1. The camera takes absoutely terrible quality photos and is very slow to snap the pic. Between the time I depress the button and when the photo finally takes, the kid or pet (I'm in rescue and need to take very quick photos before a pet gets impatient) has turned its head. My old Blackberry took better and faster pics!
2. I am now unable to email photos to anyone, no matter the size. I've tried multiple times today to send a photo for work, and I show multiple messages in my Sent folder, but they're not being received on the other end.
3. My email isn't always delivered in a timely manner, and sometimes not at all. After standing around in their store for 2 hours and on the phone with them for an hour, Verizon cannot figure out the problem. I use my phone a lot for email and I'm sick of it.
4. I am not happy that I cannot remove the preloaded apps I don't use or want - which is most of them. For example, I hate sports and don't like the fact that I cannot remove NFL Mobile from my own phone. It doesn't interfere with the use of the phone, but why can I not remove apps that I don't use? I resent this heavy handed way I'm being marketed to.
So aggravating!
