Trouble with beam

I have a Droid Razr M. I have been having trouble with my phone ever since the upgrade. The issue I'm having right now is I can beam a picture to my husband's phone and he has no problem at all receiving it, but when he tries to beam a picture to my phone, mine automatically goes to Google Play and says it can't find the page. I can't find any settings to fix this. Any suggestions?

Also since the upgrade my phone keeps disconnecting from my Wifi and half the time my camera won't do the "touch to focus" also my text and picture messages don't come and go as smoothly

Oh this one stumped me. You have a Razr   http://www.thefullsignal.com/motorola/motorola-droid-razr-m/12653/how-use-android-beam-your-motorola-droid-razr-m  I also seen it for a samsung at this link.   http://m.samsung.com/us/support/supportOwnersHowToGuidePopup.do?howto_guide_seq=7042&prd_ia_cd=N0000003&map_seq=48157  Both sites are pretty straight forward. I think you have to enable GMail on your device to have it sync. When its going to the Google Play Store I think it doesn't know you have an account.
