I've been in India for seven weeks so far with a Verizon international plan on my US phone (non-smartphone), and at the beginning of my stay I could make outgoing calls or send texts just fine. But sometime within the last few weeks, Verizon inexplicably cut off my ability to make outgoing calls or send texts! I can still receive texts and calls, but I can't initiate them. The texts I send never get delivered, and the calls I try to make just cut to an Indian recorded message saying "Please check the number you have dialed".
My bill payments are all up to date and nothing should have changed in my plan. But I can't call Verizon customer service because I can't make outgoing calls, and Verizon doesn't have customer service email or chat available! How can I find out what's gone wrong and how to fix it? I'm paying Verizon tons of money every month for mobile phone service that they won't let me use and they don't provide any workable way for me to get in touch with them to resolve the problem. I'm EXTREMELY dissatisfied about this.
