water damage iphone 5 plz help

i have a iphone 5 and it has water damage. whats it going to coast me to replace it? ive seen people say 300 and some say 150. either one do they put it on your bill or do you have to pay up front? also how long before you get another phone because i have no phone at the time cause of this.
