Unable to remove restriction on my caller id

Even though "block caller id" is not selected as one of my features, my number still shows up as "restricted" on my friends' phones. How can I remove the restriction so that my number is displayed?

Have you ever had it added before? Sometimes features don't get fully removed in the switch. You'll need to call customer service to have them confirm and do some troubleshooting.

All they'll need to do is add the feature and then remove it again. That usually clears it up everytime I've had to fix it for someone...

Thanks for the responses. I tried adding and removing the feature myself online, but it still shows as restricted. I'll call them and see if they can fix it on their end.

One BIG thing I forgot to mention (cuz i'm a ditz like that) is after adding and then removing the feature you need to dial *228 send and then option 1 to reprogram the phone. After that it should be fixed! :smileyhappy:
