When you block someone's number, what do they see/hear when they try and contact you? Do they know that they are blocked?

When you block someone, do they get a message, etc saying that their number is blocked?

If a VZW subscriber, there is a message, if not a VZW Subscriber, they receive no message via voice call or text.

They caller would receive a message similar to this " "Welcome to Verizon Wireless, the wireless subscriber you are trying to reach has restrictions enabled that is preventing this call from going through."
