Network down?

My phone is prepaid, and no, the pay-by date is nowhere near close. I can't call anyone, or receive calls currently. When I try to call anyone, I hear a busy tone automatically, and the phone hangs itself up. Every time that I try to send a text, it says message failed. And not to mention that I don't receive texts. This started happening about 2 hours ago. Is the network down?

don't bother calling... i have been calling every hour on the hour since 8am.. and they tell me to call back in an hour. they have zero visibility to account info and are not able to be of any assistance. I can't make or receive calls and can only text if my wifi is working. and even that hasnt been reliable.

not good... Unfortunately, I am pretty sure this outage is the push i needed to switch providers.
