Opinion anyone?

So I lost my Iphone 5, but luckily I have an upgrade in my family plan that I would be able to use. Debating if i should repurchase the 5, or wait for the newest one, which I assume would come out in a few months? I assume one comes out annually? The iphone 5 was my first iPhone I've owned and I don't really follow. What do you think?

The 5S should be unveiled in mid Sept. and released shortly after that. It will likely have a faster processor, a slightly better camera, perhaps a different (slightly brighter) screen. Maybe finger print technology. Some other odds and ends. I don't think any of those are deal breakers though. In other words, I have the 5, and will not worry about the 5S. Of slightly more significance may be the OS upgrade to iOS 7. Some good things in iOS 7, but I don't care for how it "looks" too much. All this "flat" stuff. It's like they wanted to copy Windows or something.
