I am traveling to Europe and would like to get a SIM card there for my phone. How would I unlock my phone for international use?
It's already Unlocked for International use.

That is what the Verizon peeps said that the phone is already unlocked for Global GSM use, However i am currently in India and when i tried inserting the Local GSM SIM (Aritel), it did not work.
It is by default on Global GSM Network Mode, and it does not search a network. In fact the option to search Local Network Operator is always turned off / Greyed when i Global mode is selected.
It only searches for Local network operator when i select manual searching after selecting GSM Mode and not Global mode.
Under GSM Network Mode i get a list of Local Network Operators but when i select one, it keeps on saying "Registering" for long and then it says, could not register please try again.
Thats it.
I dunno what settings i have to do or what do i do to make it work on Local GSM in India if it was already unlocked!!!
