It will available after Verizon Wireless approves it for distribution and not a moment before. This is my opinion based on almost four years of Android update history I have experienced on the Verizon Wireless network.
According to "Support", Verizon doesn't even have the update in internal testing. The delays have nothing to do with Verzion being concerned about QnA.

The Support Reps NEVER know if an update is in the testing process. Heck they don't know when an update is going to be released until it is about to happen.
Then perhaps "they" shouldn't comment on things they know nothing about as representatives of VZW?
Note...For posterity these posts are being recorded.
Soak test out for ATT http://www.droid-life.com/2013/09/25/att-up-next-for-moto-x-update-soak-test-invites-go-out-for-new-software-release/
So going on two weeks and still nothing from Verizon?
Almost three weeks since T-Mobile release.
That's just pathetic, what's the hold up?
I really wish verizon would expedite this "approval process" they are always the last carrier to update their phones, and normally months after the other carriers. I enjoy this phone and the camera and other features updates would be quite appreciated. There are people on the motorola forum experiencing the issues on verizon, and verizon wants to keep pointing the finger at motorola. How can it be motorolas fault when others carriers have already receive the update?
I don't have the mic issues that some people are reporting, but I'm afraid this is a sign of things to come. This isn't even 4.3 or 4.4, but simply a bug fixer. I'm going to take my frustration to the Motorola support forums as well.
Where did the link go to this issue in Motorola forums?
