Little red x by text messages....

Just got my new phone a few weeks ago....first SmartPhone...need help. My question is: I have a little red x by email messages from one particular person. You can't click on it and I don't know what it means. All my other text contacts do not have this. What does it mean and how can I get rid of it??

It sounds like there is an error is sending or receiving those messages.

Kelly do you have the Original Razr Maxx or HD model ? This is usually what it Means (( A red X means that the message failed to send (or the phone thinks it failed to send)).

Thanks for reaching out. We are here to help out. I know this can be a little annoying. The great news is the little red x is letting you know the message sent did fail. You can press and hold the message and get more options to resend it or delete it. I hope this info helps out.
