Verizon is the last carrier send out the Moto X update. How long will it take?

Sprint, T-mobile, and AT&T have already pushed their update. Verizon continues to have a phone that cannot be used as a phone. When will the update come? Does this mean that Verizon cares the least of all the major carriers and has the worst customer service?

Obviously the Moto X is cutting into Droid sales.

Do the new droids have similar issues? I would think they would want to avoid returns at all costs, but that is thinking rationally.

Here is Sprint. Sprint is CDMA and LTE. Same as Verizon. Except they as smaller with less profitability and resources. But they apparently care more about their customers. If Sprint is out i see zero reason Verizon cannot do the same.

Motorola must have just updated their pages in the last 12 to 24 hours. One of the links I posted has since been updated to reflect the Sprint update. There are still two other carriers listed besides Verizon Wireless that has to release their own update before VZW is considered the last to push it out.

Verizon will be last. At&t has already started their soak test. Verizon has not even acknowledged a new update is in the works.

US Cellular is not a major carrier. AT&T has sent out a soak which they had to approve. I thought Verizon prided itself on its customer service. "Verizon - We are not technically last in customer service, yet!"

At&t has officially announced the update is beginning to roll out today to all users. So Verizon is indeed last.

I saw on G+ that Punit Soni (product manager for Motorola) stated that the OTA should be hitting Verizon users "soon". He has been a very vocal and helpful person in general with the Moto X so maybe next week we'll see the soak start?

Yes it is refreshing for a company to actually be helpful in their responses. Verizon, do you see that a Motorola VP is responding directly to consumers with useful information! Let's try to do better, okay?

I personally think that's a vague response.

What I think is happening (based upon a VZW reply on another thread) is that this update has been approved/tested by all of the carriers, including Verizon, and Motorola is pushing out the update in phases by carrier. Unlike Apple, I don't think Moto has the ability to push out the update to all of the phones at the same time. If for the sake of argument that was the case why is it so difficult for Motorola and/or Verizon to clearly state what's happening?
