Camera click during call

I just started getting calls for the number 312 again. Usually I just ignored them. Being bored today, I answered the call. Heard silence for a few seconds, then sound of camera click. Thought it came from speaker and not from "earpiece". Is this a prank someone is pulling? OR has someone figure out how to trigger an iPhone camera via phone connection? VZW 611 had no info on call other than showing I received a call from 312 at the noted time.

Let's look into this! Please clarify, does your camera shutter on every call or just receiving a call from the number you mentioned? Do you simply hear a camera shutter coming from the other end of the call or specifically from your device? When did the shutter issue begin? I look forward to hearing from you soon.
