no service in another state

was in Michigan this weekend..no service..5 people had Verizon service and worked fine...1 had at&t and got California..i couldn't get the next door neighbor..went to Verizon, gave me new SIM card and told me to leave my GPS on ...is that right to leave the GPS on all the time..my calendar and time, weather..etc also stopped and never changed once I got into Michigan...

going back to Michigan for the 4th of july...how do I know this wont happen again???

my old phone HTC did soooooo much more than this galaxy 3...I am soooo disappointed with this phone and the service that Verizon offers....I waited 6 months to get this phone and now im locked in for 2 years...

Wow, I love my Galaxy S3. But, my goal is to make the same apply to you. First of all, I'm terribly sorry to learn about the issues you had in Michigan with service. Which zip code was it? We can check things out but as long as it's within our coverage area, you should be good to go http://vz.to/qQR9lM . Next, having your GPS on is no problem at all (as I keep mine on at all times).
