Can't attach phone to a line because of pending order??

About a month ago I added a line to my account. When I received the phone I activated it under another line that I had. When I went to activate another phone that I have previously had for a while on the newly added line it says that I can't because of a pending order? What's a pending order and how do I get it to go away?

Oh No! That certainly sounds aggravating. We definitely want you to have the ability to activate a desired device. When it comes to a pending order, this could be for plan changes or feature changes. If neither of these options were planned it could relate to a correction that needs to be made on your account relating to the previous activation of your new device. Did you use an upgrade to get the phone? If so, you have to first activate the new phone on that line to accept the contract terms and conditions.

Another option is once I couldn't switch devices online because I had set up a global voice plan to start at the end of that week. I had to call customer service and start that plan right away to get rid of the pending status.
