fasFamily Base not blocking calls....

Recently I've got the Family Base package to block Unknown, Private calls etc.

Yet still get "Out of area","Unknown caller", and private caller on the ID.

Why am I paying for a service that doesn't work ? All options in Family Base are set up correctly and posted numbers are blocked.

Am I missing something ?

This is very simple. Ditch the Family Base package and install an app from Google Play called, Call Control. Pay the one time 4 bucks for the app and you can block anything on this and it works.

Ooops, forgot to mention this is on my home phone, "Home Connect". There wasn't an option for this when posting.

GPM2010 We want to make sure your family base is functioning properly. Have you tried to delete and readd the feature via my verizon?

Did not know that was an option to delete and re-add feature. Didn't see it in that menu of "Manage Family Base".

Why can't Verizon do this ? I've been paying 5 dollars a month since started the program and isn't working for home connect ?

We absolutely understand your concerns and apologize for any inconvenience or confusion this has caused. After review, it appears that the Home Phone Connect device is not compatible with the Family Base restrictions feature.

Family Base is only compatible on select devices.

Well that's just wonderful !

All this time and now they tell me ?

How's about a 1/3 discount on this option due to the fact that I'm only getting 2/3 service on this ?

This needs to be fixed to work with Home connect.
