Every time I try to sign in to cloud it says verizon cloud has encountered an error please close app and try again (code:10003) I can't figure out how to fix this

Well maybe "sad's" problem is resolved since he/she didn't answer. As for me, my Backup Assistant Plus no longer backs up. Instead, I receive "account state is invalid." The VZW tech support rep (via call in) surmized this may be because Backup Assistant is possibly phasing out in favor of "Cloud." She suggested I log into the Cloud to backup in this manner. When I attempted the first time login, and ever since, I receive "Verizon cloud has encountered an error. Please close app and try again (code: 10003)." This happens whether I'm on WiFi or VZW network. I have previously successfully backed up using Assistant, but have never reached the Cloud. The VZW phone rep suggested I take the phone to a store because short of resetting the phone (which she didn't want to do), she couldn't figure out the problem. We previously cleared data and cache to no avail. Any help?
