text recipients getting bombarded with my texts

I downloaded Verizon messaging to get texts on ipad .. and ever since, there have been times when I've sent a group text and the group will get my text 40-50 times..help! I'm losing friends!!

The multiple text situation happened when I downloaded the verizon message ap – I deleted that ap so I think we’re clear now.

Hi ciao717- Let's get your friends back! Is this only happening with messages sent using iPad or using iMessage app on phone?Is this only happening when sending group messages? Does it seem to happen only with contacts of another carrier? I am eager to get your messages sent one at a time!
