Is there a way to get push notifications for social apps on the Droid Maxx? With text messaging, you will see a badge icon, but I wasn't sure if you could do that for social networks, too.
Each social networking app has its own settings where you can turn on/off push notifications.
I tried that, but it didn't work. I will look again. Thanks!
Tried what? What social apps. They all have a "notifications" section in the settings menu.
Facebook and Twitter. I went into each notification section in the settings menu, but still nothing.
It's not really that big of a deal, I was just curious.
Well I can guarantee that both of those apps have push notifications as I had to turn them off when installing the apps after my phone kept beeping every 2-3 minutes with a new one.
@cmabbott85,I can definitely understand how important it can be to get your Facebook or Twitter notifications on your phone.As @rcshnoor mentioned, each app does have the option to turn the notification on or off.
