i can dial to make a call but i cannot hear the other person and the other person cannot hear me. its total silence like if it was on mute.
Is this from all locations? if not it could be the cell tower you are using. Try pulling the sim card and reinstalling. This will reconnect you to the network. While you have the back off, pull the battery for 30 seconds also.
