Cannot recover outlook password or recreate account on mobile devoce

Never had or set up a password to access my outlook email account on my phone.. Suddenly it said "Couldn't finish" "Username or Password incorrect" It's obvious that a password is required. I tried lots of passwords used for other apps but none worked. I decided to try removing the account and recreating it. It still asks for a non-existent password. Can someone out there suggest a solution. Neither Verizon nor Microsoft have been helpful.:smileysad:

Just before I go to dinner. Are you talking about Microsoft's Outlook email or are you talking about the secure Outlook many companies provide.

If the first one go to http://www.outlook.com and make an account.

Then go to the Google Play store and download the Outlook Mail App. Fill in just your new account name and the password you just created. Don't use the email program that came on the device. They work terrible.

If it is the Outlook mail that is secure and used by business you must go through the IT department to have it set up correctly.
