i have a motorola droid and when i travel, i download my email messages and then the email client tells the messages to delete from the webmail server.  i can find no setting in the droid email client "settings" that offers me the option of delete or not delete from the email server.  This is a serious problem, i need the messages saved on the server.  How do i find where to stop the email client from sending delete message to the webmail server?

You ask a great question. You would need to reach out to your email server to have them give you the ability to not delete off of the server.
