My Droid Maxx voicemail indicator still says I have a voicemail when I don't. I've powered-off and back on and it still isn't right.
srgentry,We don't want you have a notification for something that is not true. Lets investigate. Do you have basic voicemail or visual voicemail? Is this showing on the voicemail application on the device or in the notifications at the top of the device. Please provide additional details.LindseyT_VZWFollow us on Twitter @VZWSupport

I am also having this same issue (indicator at the top). It won't go away no matter what I do. I guess there was a message in basic voicemail when it got converted to visual voicemail. I've cleared all of the voicemails from visual voicemail, but I can't get this indicator to go away. I'm guessing there is still something in my previous basic voicemail that is causing this. Any guidance is appreciated.
I have visual voicemail. The problem started when switching to visual
voicemail. It is clear now, but typically when I get a voicemail while
I have no reception, it triggers a new voicemail notification that
persists even after I have played the voicemail in visual voicemail.
Then, if I "stop" the voicemail app, clear the data, or restart the
phone, sometimes the notification comes back as a new voicemail. Only
stopping the app AND after deleting the voice message and restarting the
phone did it seem to clear.
