Samsung Galaxy Charging Issues

I went from a decent but outdated flip phone to a Samsung Galaxy.  I love the features of the new phone - none of which I can use because my phone will not charge.  For the past few months, I was able to get it to charge using amazing contortionist skills - if I held it at the correct angle, it would charge for a bit.  Now, no charge no matter what.  I have a dead phone and that does NOT work for me.  Will Verizon truly replace the phone if it is less than one year old?  Of am I out of luck?

Yeah if it's still under manufacturer's warranty . No physical or liquid damage they may send you another same model phone certified like new And you send in your phone.  they usually like it to be factory data reset but if it wont power on you can't do that. You can also call Samsung and they'll have you send your phone in and repair it then send it back. With vzw you're not out of a phone during process.
