Is there a setting on the Samsung Galaxy 3 to include indicator arrows for emails that have been forwarded or replied, like those available on Outlook for PC's?
I know that this can be a pain, getting used to changes of a software update. I was looking into the functions of the phone, and you are right. I did not find any indicators that can be turned on to show that an email was forwarded. I did find that once an email is forwarded, you can tap on the original email, from your email list, and it will show a section that lists who you forwarded it to. Let me know if you have any other questions.SandyS_VZWFollow us on Twitter @Vzwsupport
This is strange, claudite! Normally when you forward or reply to an email, the icon you see in your inbox should change. Are you using the default email application? What kind of email are you using (Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail...)?AndreaS_VZWFollow us on Twitter @VZWSupport
I know – it is strange. I believe the icons went away with the last Samsung/Verizon update in early July that resulted in a massive upset with my email. I finally had to delete my previous account and set it up again. I use the default email with Time Warner Road Runner. Since the update, I’ve had the reply icon show up only twice but no icon for forwarded messages since then. It’s very annoying. Another family member who has the same phone with the same set-up is experiencing the identical conditions, no icons although did not experience the same email breakdown following the update.
Any help/guidance will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Karen
