My HTC DNA powered down last night and I can not get it to power on

There was ~50% battery life on my phone last night when I went to bed. I did not plug it into the charger. This morning, the phone was dead. I plugged it into the wall charger, and came back 3 hours later. It still would not turn on. I would get 1 or 2 of the boot screens, and then it would go back to charging. The charging light was blinking, and never went solid. I took it to the VZW store, and the tech there couldn't do anything with it. I can also get it into the hboot menu, but fastboot or recovery don't work. I get 1 or 2 boot screens and it goes back to the charge icon.

Please help!

Hi--

I have a situation very similar to mk1racer; my HTC DNA is dead dead dead. My phone shut itself off due to low battery, so I put it on the charger overnight. It didn't take the charge. When I plug i into the charger, the indicator light flashes amber 3-5 times, the battery icon appears on the screen, and then all goes black. I tried holding the Power and Volume buttons at the same time, and the phone tried to boot--only to go black after a few seconds. Nothing.

Help????!!!!

I am so sorry to hear you are having device issues. Lets take a deep dive into this issue. Have you tried to use another charger? When the battery icon shows up does it show up as empty or with a full charge? When holding down the power and volume down keys was the phone on the charger?
