samsung galaxy s3 - updated to KK. Now email on phone does not work. Email worked perfectly prior to s/w update. What do i need to do to get email to function again?

samsung galaxy s3 - updated to KK yesterday. Now email on phone does not receive messages. Email worked perfectly prior to s/w update. Have turned sync on and off - no change. Nothing has changed w/ email settings either. What needs to be done to get email to function properly again?

Let's see what's causing the problem! Which email account are you referring to? Are you able to send emails? Do you receive an error message?

It is a comcast email account. None of the specifics of the email account have changed. Can send email from the phone, but can not receive anything. When I touch the circular arrows to receive email, the arrows circle and stop, but no email downloads. This was not a problem prior to the software update.

Have you tried deleting your email account and resetting the configuration through your provider?

Not yet. Was hoping it would reset on it's own. What a pain!

raadga Emails are important! Let's get your Comcast account working again. Go to the email account then select the menu for settings. If "sync only over wifi" is on then uncheck the box. If this is not an option, then you would want to delete and readd the email account to the phone. Please keep us posted.
