So if it says Day 30/31, does that mean my shared data will restart at midnight, or 24 hours from midnight?

I would believe the month restarts on day 1/31 at midnight of the 31st day. You should have 24 + hours of time left on your data month if it says 30/31.
Look for you bill cycle day. If it's the 7th of the month then your data plan restarts at midnight 1200 am on the 8th
