I have an LG Lucid 2 and have just started having connection issues at 2 totally different locations, where open wifi connections have been successfull in the recent past. The "https" on the login screens (which look very different) now show up as "https" and the security certificate warning appears when I attempt to log on. It does allow me to Proceed Anyway or Return to Safety. Proceed Anyway doesn't seem to get me anywhere, it just loops back to the login screen, and it doesn't act like it every connects successfully.
Background info: I normally keep my DATA turned off to play games offline or wifi. (Candy Crush / Pet Rescue)
Now in these locations when I can't connect to the wifi, the game opens and then closes almost immediately; no errors - just goes back to home screen. I end up turning AIRPLANE mode on (all communications off) if I want to play these games.
I'm hoping someone here might have some ideas; I've done some searching, but haven't found anything useful yet. I ran across 'check the time on your phone', but there is no option to set or change the date/time on this phone.
