When he turns it on it starts flashing colors on the screen and has vertical lines running up and down the screen. He is unable to use it while this is happening. As an Android user I would just pull the battery but that ain't gonna happen here. He has turned it off and on no change, he is going to leave it off for a couple of hours and see if that gets it working right. And ideas if that doesn't work?
