Back in March I thought I was taking advantage of a Verizon incentive by upgrading two of my regular phone lines to lines with smartphones, which was supposed to get me a $100 bill credit for each transaction. I linked to the offer directly on Verizon's website and chatted with a rep to confirm the offer while I was placing my orders. Its been 3 billing cycles and neither of the credits have been applied. I've chatted with reps on the website twice, talked to customer service twice, and talked to an agent in my local store. The first answer I got was to wait another month. Then when they looked into my account the following month I was told that I had to provide proof of the credit. Its hard for me to provide proof when Verizon was offering the promotion, not myself. I was lured in by this offer, and never would have upgraded these two lines if it were not for the promotion. I see that in other threads many others have faced this same scam. How can I get some help on this issue? I feel like I have been scammed by Verizon and am getting taken advantage of.
