On this Verizon webpage [ Voice Mail Comparisons | Verizon Wireless ], there is a "Basic Visual Voice Mail" and a "Premium Visual Voice Mail". The basic one is included and the premium one is $2.99 a month. I have a Droid MAXX but I have no basic visual voice mail even though my device is on the list of compatible devices [ Visual Voice Mail: Compatible Devices | Verizon Wireless ]. I followed the instructions [ Visual Voice Mail FAQs | Verizon Wireless ] to set up visual voice mail, but when I open the "Voicemail" app on my phone, it brings me to a screen where my only options are to start a 30-day trial for Visual Voice Mail (why doesn't it say it's the premium one?), to call my voicemail, or to deny the trial.
So according to Verizon, I should have basic visual voice mail included and my device is compatible, so why don't I have visual voice mail?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
