Backup Assistant Plus on my Droid DNA keeps getting this Error Code 37. What do I do to fix it?
I've tried force stopping it and clearing all data, but that didn't help.
Tom19,I am sorry to hear about the issues your backup assistant is having. Lets make sure we can get your contacts backed up. Does this error code occur as soon as you open the application or when you enter in your pin? Has your backup assistant previously worked? Is your backup assistant plus up to data? Go to Settings>Apps>All>Backup Assistant>Update.LindseyT_VZWFollow us on Twitter @VZWSupport
There is no way to open this application. At least I can't find any icon to tap to open it. The only place I can find it is to pull down the notifications, tap the thing up at the top right, then Settings->App Manager. From that under "All" there are two entries called "Backup Assistant Plus"
The first and larger one, says it is version 5.0.2322372918.695234.683...
I can only "Force Stop" "Clear Data" "Clear Cache" and "Clear Defaults" I have tried all of these but they don't help.
The 2nd and smaller one, says it is version 5.02412312034.670807.582...
I have the same options as the first one plus "Disable" And again none of these seem to do anything to stop the error message.
Hi Tom19!Your efforts are appreciated, let's see what's causing the problem! When did the issue begin? Have you recently downloaded any new applications? Does the issue occur while using a certain function or sporadically?Thanks,AyaniB_VZWFollow us on Twitter @VZWSupport
The problem started probably back in May or June. It was about a week or so after the last major update from Verizon. The error icon basically stays in notification bar and reappears soon after I clear notifications.
