Unusally high data usage, per day. Even though I have stopped several apps from running. This problem has been expressed with several others who have different carriers but same model phone.

I am experiencing very high data usage even though I am only using my phone for occasional web browsing. I have stopped all apps from running in the background and turned off several apps. Even when I STOP apps, they continue to show up in running services. How do I manage this????!!!

I know that data usage is important to manage OceanCaller because you want to prevent going over your allotment. We have some steps to help with going over your limit. What phone do you have? Do you connect to wifi when its available? You also should have a data usage screen via  your settings. It will tell  you which applications are using more data. With most customers, its usually the downloaded apps that use more data. The preinstalled apps stay dormant until you open them unless their updating.
