cannot access text messaging on computer all of a sudden

I cannot access text messaging on my computer anymore. I installed the messaging + app and after that was able to view, send, delete, etc text messages from my smartphone , on my computer after I logged in to it. I had no issues until today it just stopped. and now I get a error message:

" Your request has failed. Please try again later.

I had been using the computer for 2 weeks now and today out of the blue I get this error message above every time and cannot access my text messages from my computer or another smartphone after logging in to my verizon wireless anymore.

any advise would be appreciated.

ps: I called Verizon Wireless already and they do not know what the issue is on there end yet.

Still no resolution.

I was able to get my ticket escalated to Level 2 and spoke to the one and only Verizon technical support person who seemed to have any technical understanding.

It's not the device, client configuration, browser, or external network. I have tested all of that. The application authenticates with the MyVerizon account credentials and loads. The problem (error message) occurs as the application attempts to load and display the data within the frame. I see that while this is occurring a connection is being made to im1.vma.vzw.com. So.....without knowing anything about Verizon's application architecture or what condition generates this error, it leads me to believe the problem is likely the application itself, connection to a database, or connectivity with one of the servers in the data center. It has to be something like that since it is only affecting a small number of accounts.

I am having the same problem. It started on August 11, 2014. I get the "Your request has failed. Please try again later." message when logging into the Verizon Messaging web application.

Here is what I did to troubleshoot it:

I verified that I can log into the MyVerizon account successfully.

Verified that the feature was set up correctly.

Cleared cache and history on my browser.

Tried two different browsers - same result.

Tried a different computer - same result.

Tried from a mobile device - same result.

It is definitely on the Verizon end. I called their tech support and of course, got no results as usual.

Verizon creates and promotes all these features, you get dependent on using them, and they stop working. Then, of course Verizon can't resolve the issue. I'm shopping around when my contracts are up. For the premium price we pay for Verizon I would expect better stability and support in their service.

thank you for the update. Please keep me informed. I spent 3 hours on the phone yesterday with them and no success. No one knows what the server issue is on their end. It is not the phone.

escalated to level 2 support. admitted it is the actual web app on the VW server and Not the phone. Working on it . Intermittent operation at this time. A step ahead for now. Still get the error message 90 % but now 10 % can see the text messages on the web.

Mine starting working again earlier today.
