Plan changed after store promised it wouldn't.

Has anyone else had any similar issues? I bought a upgrade and was guaranteed by these scam artists that my *UNLIMITED* data would not be changed.(actually I was guaranteed nothing would change what so ever.) So some back story, my sister had just upgraded the month before me and the scamsters tricked my mom into thinking we couldn't possibly use 3gb of data, so they changed the plan to 3gb data and I had to call in and then after some work they switched it back and I explained to everyone not to let them change our plan, so anyways next month I get my upgrade and we talk to the Verizon employee and he says, "no changes will be made to your plan what so ever." So today my phone upgrades to kit Kat os and I check my useage and it says 1.6gb/1.3gb used your over your limit blah blah, I call Verizon right away and this guy says "duhr our systems just 'crashed' so I'll call you back when there fixed.(LOL didn't happen) so I call back myself and finally speak to someone who hasn't just " crashed" and she says hmm that's weird they should have told u the plan would change I said I'm not interested in that in any way and she says that's weird says here you have 2gb data I'll upgrade it to 6gb its the same price, and put a request for my normal plan. So now I realize they overcharged us last month too and were now trying to figure out what that's all about *WARNING WATCH YOUR BILLS FROM VERIZON CAREFULLY* THEY WILL OVERCHARGE, CHANGE CONTRACTS ETC WITHOUT ANY NOTIFICATION. Thinking about just switching all of us to another provider anything is better then being scammed.

Oh yes and my bill was 330$ last month for one line that apparently had 2gb data, 1400 minutes shared with 2people others, and unlimited texts.. What a scam about to just go with at&t if I don't get my internet fixed.

Did you purchase a new phone at the full retail price or at the two year contract price or use the Edge payment option? Full retail price would have been the only way for you to keep the unlimited data plan. The other two options removes the unlimited data plan.

Thanks but I already have realized this, but if you read what I wrote the VERIZON STORE EMPLOYEE PROMISED IT WOULDNT. First of all I could have gotten my phone free and the store charged 180$ so #brokemycontract I will return the phone for a 100% refund of everything they have screwed me over on or they will refund the scam they did on my last bill and put me back on unlimited internet or, we will get more data and unlimited call/text from at&t for half the price as these scammers charged me last month.

Well all that you wrote is not going to happen. Unless you port out.

You are past the 14 day return window. No refund there.

You purchased the device at less than full price. You lost unlimited data and you will not get it back.

You were access overage fees because you no longer had unlimited data.

No matter what you were told and that I will say is probably the worst of it that yes you were lied to. But it is too late now for redress. A shame.

AT&T is not cheaper. You will still need to purchase new devices, $38 activation fees per line and the monthly costs are about the same as Verizon.

But to leave Verizon there will be early termination fees. And AT&T does not offer unlimited data. Sprint & T-Mobile still do.

No I will not be scammed and just roll over and that is where YOU are wrong. My contract is already null and void because they didn't follow the terms of our agreement therefore if they want to take it to court they will get this phone shoved up them so deep there going to be charging themselves. A verbal contract was made and I will be collecting on it no matter what it takes unlike others who let Verizon bully them. I will not pay them a single cent until this is resolved and already talked to visa and blocked them from placing any charges on any of my accounts without approval. I will absolutely NEVER pay them a cent to cancel something that THEY FORCE ME TO CANCEL! Having a contract with Verizon is like a deal with the devil.

rOh and your completely wrong at&t would be nearly 2x cheaper for the same plan(6gb internet) no matter what you claim I have priced the 2 out... And I know they don't have unlimited internet NEATHER DO I ANYMORE!!!!
