Motorola RAZR HD Ticking/Clicking Sound

I have a Motorola RAZR HD. Since the 4.4 update even when the volumes are set to silent and vibrate is off when a text comes in there is a ticking/clicking sound. When I set the phone to silent for a meeting I expect that it will make no sounds. Please advise how to resolve this issue.

I am so sorry that your device is not functioning correctly. I agree when a device is placed on silent or vibrate your should be able to expect that it will do just that. Does the sounds only happen with text notifications? When a call comes through do you get the same clicking? Are you using the factory text app? Have you tested your device in "Safe Mode"? http://vz.to/1jTu23f

I have only noticed the sound with text notifications. I do not notice the sound when a call comes through. I am using the factory text messaging application. Clicking still happens in Safe Mode. This is apparently a fairly well known and reported issue with the RAZR M, RAZR HD, and RAZR MAXX as I have found many links talking about this issue. I have also noticed an issue since the 4.4 update where if I am using my Bluetooth headset (Motorola Sliver II) and have Wi-Fi turned on that the Wi-Fi connectivity comes and goes. Sounds like Motorola and/or Verizon did not do enough testing with these devices.

I have tried a hard reset with no change. I have also noticed this ticking sound when I receive a message from Facebook Messenger and a Calendar Reminder.
