How to update HTC One M8 outside the US?

I have a Verizon HTC One M8 32GB Silver and I'm in Greece. There's no CDMA here (it's GSM).

I've switched the sim with a Cosmote one (Greek as I am in Greece).

Can I use the WiFi to update the device's firmware when updates become available? Because I've tried and it fails every time..

We recommend that you uninstall any unwanted applications, delete text messages, call logs and e-mails to ensure that this isn't a memory capacity issue.

Thank you very much for the information. There's no issue with available space.

With the Verizon SIM the message I'm getting is:

Message Title: "Download Unsuccessful"
Message: "We were not able to download this update. To retry, go to Settings > Software update

I get this over and over again.

With the Cosmote SIM, when i put it in the HTC says "Non Verizon SIM". then if i go to Software Update the "Check new" is disabled and it says "Software Update only work in CDMA Mode"

Also, is there a way to make it not say "Non Verizon SIM" when i put a European SIM in?

Edit: Is it possible that i have the latest version already? My version is: 1.55.605.2-1.12.605_R3

I have an unlocked global ready phone (Verizon HTC One M8). Hhow can I update my phone to the latest firmware where I live (In Greece) on my unlocked phone if one can only update if through CDMA even though i have WiFi enabled?
I think that HTC One M8 got 4.4.3 update and I'm still on 4.4.2.
Also, some day it will get Android L version, and I'll still be on 4.4.2.
We need to solve this thing please. I've seen a lot of posts with people having the same problem. It is important to keep global phones really global, or else why would we buy a verizon global phone again?
