It was there for a while and now it's not. How do I get it back to be able to do a hands free text?
in the keyboard, or on one of the homescreens? if you mean in the keyboard, it will be in your keyboard settings. if you mean the mic on the homescreen, you need to add the search "widget" to the homescreen. it's like adding an app, but you click on the widget tab instead of apps tab.
