My phone was stolen. Is there a way to locate it via GPS? Is there a way to wipe its contents?

My daughter was at a concert and I gave her my phone so if she got separated from her friends she could contact me. Well she left it in her bag under her seat and her bag was stolen.

Is there a way to track the phone?

Also is there a way to wipe the contents of the phone remotely?

Your Google account you used. If you have Android device manager setup and checkmarked in Google settings on your phone you can track, delete, and ring your phone much like FindMyIPhone for iOS device.

If you set up Android device manager then you can track it and wipe it. If someone wiped it prior to you doing so yourself you can't track it. If it wasn't setup prior then of course it wouldn't work.

Do you have the total mobile protection? If so you can try to locate it if it's on with location on and you have the vz protect app from a browser . Or even the device Manger app from play store
