We returned my wife's fully functioning iPhone 4 when we upgraded to the 5S. The main reason we upgraded was the recycling program estimated her old phone was worth $110. Upon returning the phone we received a credit of $7.01!!!!
When I called about this I was told that the reason for the downgrade was two fold:
1. it was not the model cited in the request. Hard to understand because it was done thru our Verizon account and this was the phone on our account record.
2. was told that the screen did not work. This phone was fully functional until it was returned.
Seems that Verizon can not be trusted and we will be exploring alternatives.
