Verizon LG Lucid charges only after battery is removed and reinstalled.

One day my phone wouldn't charge so I tried plugging my charger into different outlets, I also tried using different chargers, and even bought a new battery. Nothing worked. It seems the only time the phone will charge is after I take the battery out, put it back in, and restart the phone. But once the phone is unplugged from charging, I have to do it all over to recharge it again. What could be the cause?

that's strange.

I guess I would back up all my important stuff to a PC (videos, ringtones, mp3s, pictures other content I didn't want to lose that I downloaded or took with the camera, etc), important email settings, contacts, and even where I put important icons to apps I use regularly, and perform a Factory Data Reset. Hopefully, that will clear the problem. This will force you to re-install stuff, but your next step would be a replacement phone I would think.

That's not good! It's important to have a device that charges properly. How long have you had this device? Any liquid or physical damage to the device? Place the device in Safe Mode, then attempt to charge the device to see if you receive different results http://vz.to/1zmsGoA .
