Can I get a replacement phone if my phones in working order and only has some cosmetic blemishes? I have insurance....

Is this legal? Well I mean will they do it? I'm really picky with my phone and I'm not trying to scam verizon out of another phone, although they make plenty o money. But my note 3 has an extremely small crack at the top of the screen. It's not on the actually lcd itself... it's actually right above the speaker for the ear piece so this does not interfere with the screen at all. It's really tiny but annoying. And the metal plastic edges have some dings. Other than that there is nothing wrong with the phone. Will I be able to get a replacement being that my phone just has cosmetic blemishes? I have insurance and am prepared to pay the 100 deductible. Thank you all

You can get it replaced through the insurance, but not warranty.

You can also consider sending the phone to Samsung for repair.

Also I'm sure it doesn't matter but just mentioning, I bought my note 3 without a contract and paid full retail. Please only reply if serious and if you know for sure what you're talking about. Again, Thanks all

Really? You're sure insurance will replace it even though there's nothing wrong with it hardware wise? I just didn't think they would replace it because it has dings around the bezel and a minor crack at the top of the screen. And I would send it to get repaired but I already know it won't be worth it. To replace the silver bezel would be a fortune because it's physically made attached to the phone so I wasn't really planning on that as an option. I have no problem paying the insurance deductible but are you for sure they replace phones with my issue?

The cracked screen has voided the warranty option. What options you have left are repair or replacement under insurance.

But there IS something wrong with it hardware wise. The screen has a crack in it. Cracks can propagate into larger cracks.

Keep in mind, the insurance is not going to replace it with a NEW phone, simply a refurbished one. There may be some cosmetic blemishes in the phone you receive as a replacement, but the screen will not have a crack.

That's pretty cool that's covered. Thanks. I'm going to do it online so that I can keep my phpne in the meantime because if I'm not mistaken and if I do it in store, they take your phone right away and overnight you one Right? Online i just ship it back I think

Sorry just one more thing too. I read on many forums online that people's replacement phones were in poor condition once received. Many people say that they get a ph9ne with tons of big dings on it. And that they had to get 3 or so replacements and ended up calling samsung and samsung actually helped them out by repairing it for free. Just wondering if any of you have gotten a replacemtn phone in good or bad condition. I don't see the point of doing this if the phones going to be in a crappy condition. I'm fine with a refurbished phone and the rep told me it would be practically like new. Just wondering your thoughts
