Has anyone had trouble with their s5 screen going black and wont turn on but the blue notification light still blinks

I was using my galaxy s5 when the screen just went black and looked like it was going to restart but it didnt. The blue notification light at the top of my phone stayed on and the phone would buzz from the touch sensor. I tried taking out the battery and then putting it back together but the battery would just get really hot. My phone is brand new ive had it for a month and their are no water damages or damages done.

Try Holding the Lower Volume and Power button for at 20 sec. see if the phone restarts for ya,  If that don't work try holding down the upper Volume and Power button for 20 sec. see if that restarts the phone, what this is doing is restarting to phone power cycling it,

On the s5 you can also pull the Battery, once you do that hold the power button for 20 to 25 sec. re-install the battery then re-power.. your s5
