LG G3 SMS Notifications

Since we have gotten the phone, SMS notifications are intermittent. Thus far, I have tried another tone, force stopped and cleared the cache of the application. We have noticed it appears after the a message is sent from the G3 and the reply does not generate the tone. Hover the messages are working fine they leave and come back in.

Anyone else having this issue or now of a fix?

Hello ASA12. Sorry to hear you are encountering issues with SMS notifications. Is this occurring through the default SMS app? Have you tried using Google Hangouts or Verizon Messages to see if this continues occurring?

I've had the same problem with mine. Support stated it "might" be because I went from an Iphone to the droid. I've made several calls, lasting at least 45 minutes each, to customer support and have been passed up the chain, the problem still exists. I will receive messages several hours later or they are just attempting to send for 20 minutes for more. I have diabled Verizon + and the regular messaging and downloaded GO SMS Pro with no change. Super frustrating.
