I'd love to take a closer look into the issue! It's imperative that you have a reliable device that you can count on. What zip code are you located in? YosefT_VZWFollow us on Twitter @VZWSupport
Zip code 45216 and I have spoken to someone about this issue a month ago.

Thank you so much for providing this information. Do you have issues outside of the zip? How long has this issue been occurring? Has a network ticket been filed for you? YosefT_VZWFollow us on Twitter @VZWSupport
Been going on for months. Unknown if a ticket has been opened. Happens
every where.

You're not alone in this. I too have the same issues. Previously with the note 2 I would get 4G at least 2 bars and around 11 mbs at home. Now I'm lucky if I get 2 bars of 3G at less then 1 mbs even when I'm in town I get no more then 2 bars of 4G at maybe 5-6 mbs. I love this phone but the reception is unacceptable.
I'm having the same issue. And I have called Verizon several times
Since the day after my KitKat update in May, my Note 3 has gone from decent connection for data and almost zero dropped voice calls to barely able to sustain a telephone conversation.
Zip codes involved are 63025, 63049, 63026, 63127, 63122, 63021, 63040, 63128, 63129 and 63010.
Sim has been reseated many times.
Phone has been placed in safe mode for days.
Phone has been factory reset twice. Cache cleared 3 times.
Phone has had Wifi and BT both On and Off when in use.
Problem scenario is identical to what others have reported. Even while having 4-5 bars of 4G LTE signal, phone drops calls. Inbound calls go straight to voice mail with no record of being "missed" by call log. Calls fail to connect. Calls start but then drop. More dropped calls in past 6 weeks than I've experienced in past 8 years of Verizon service combined. Highly frustrating. On many occasions, even with 3-4 bars showing, I am unable to even dial a number, emergency dialer included. Phone app displays a rather unhelpful dialog error that states "Mobile network not available." I've even got screengrabs where it shows 3 bars 4G signal when giving me this error.
I've seen mention of downgrading my device modem firmware resolves the problem but that appears to be a non-sanctioned activity.
I just want my phone working like it once did. This is my third Note 3, first two replaced under warranty for spontaneous rebooting issues.
When is Verizon going to actually fix the issue? Please stop patronizing and actually FIX the problem obviously created by the updates.
I am having the same problems with my note 3. Infuriating... Dropped calls, poor signal if any. Never have I had so many problems making a call. I have a friend with the same phone on sprints network and no problems?... Verizon replaced my new device with a refurbished phone and now I have a used phone that does the same thing!
Dont feel alone or it is just you.......................
I have same issue. Verizon does not care about this i have called in numerous time only to be told it was my phone, it was the network, play dumb and act like nothing is wrong it is just you, or they would send a refurb out for a phone that is like new that didnt have problems before the update? I dont understand why verizon would not tell samsung to get there s*** together and fix the software they pushed or we will not buy another phone from them until fixed!! Maybe things would get done. Thats what i would do if i was the CEO of Verizon things would happen and i would take care of my customers (oh yes the ones that pay the bills). Same thing happened with samsung charge i had previously and now with the note 3 samsung abandons the customer because they are already working on another phone, example the note 4 soon to roll out.
Yes, if someone were the CEO of Verizon, they might contemplate stopping the authentication of all Samsung devices until they provided patches. It's not just the Note3...
But then, a range of makes and models are having problems with KK. So if you were the CEO, maybe you'd just say, sorry, no more authentication of Samsung, LG, HTC, Motorola phones... that's another point.
You should have a working device, and you don't. And if they offer you refurbs, those will likely still exhibit the problems as evidenced by the posts of others.
I've also had this issue with my Note 3 the entire time I've owned it. Have tried every possible suggestion. Verizon needs to step up and make this right. It's affecting both my business and personal life due to calls never coming through and the inability to make calls. It's absurd
