I have tried everything to get my txt message notification in the drop down bar to go away, and on the home screen. I have deleted all messages, restarted my phone and cleared the data under app settings. Anyone? Please help!
Nichole20,Help is here! It definitely saddens me to hear that you are having issues with your sms. When did this issue start? What is the current software version on the device? I am having the same problem. I am using the stock messaging app and my version is 4.4.4 on Motorola Maxx. This happened before and the only thing that cleared it was to delete all threads!
I have deleted all threads but it just continues to say I have a message. I
am using the regular text message app that came with the phone, and I have
not downloaded any other messaging apps. My software is andriod version
4.1.2 or it says that the software version is vs93022A

Could it possibly be an app update notification?
I dont think its an app update. I can pull down the bar and it shows who it
is from and the txt in the message. But when i click on it in the drop down
bar it opens a blank message.
